Montana's Historic Flooding, 2022

From June 10 th –13 th , 2022, areas of South Central and a portion of Northwestern Montana experienced severe flooding that damaged critical infrastructure, destroyed homes, and devastated local economies. On June 16, 2022, following this severe storm and flooding event, the President issued a major disaster declaration for the State of Montana (FEMA-4655-DR-MT) allowing for statewide Hazard Mitigation (HM), Individual Assistance (IA) for four counties, and Public Assistance (PA) for seven counties (Carbon, Flathead, Park, Stillwater, Sweet Grass, Treasure, and Yellowstone).

The FEMA Mitigation Montana DR-4655 Resource Center is an information platform that organizes programs, people, and tools to support communities through programmatic initiatives during disaster operations.
